Thomas Alexander Penn

Thomas A. Penn, age 64, of Columbus, OH went to his homecoming on Thursday, January 19, 2017. He was born in Hickory, NC to Blanche Penn Washington and the late Thomas H. Penn, Jr. He graduated from UNC-Chapel Hill and obtained his law degree from Rutgers University in East Orange, NJ. He was an Asst. Attorney General of NJ, had a private practice, and retired as an Administrative Law Judge who ruled favorably for the community on many environmental cases. He leaves to cherish his memory his mother, Blanche Penn Washington; sisters, Tamara (Wes) Ingram, and Audra Penn; brothers, Michael (Arnieze Douthit) Penn and Damon (Patricia) Penn; nieces, Anne (Jamal) Freeman and Bianca Moore; nephews, L. Steven (Sara) Williams and Thomas Snodgrass (Destini), and various great nieces and nephews, great-great nieces and nephews, cousins, great friends, and LaVert Snodgrass. Reception: St. Mark A.M.E.
