Thomas Banks

Thomas Gleason Banks was born on January 11, 1960 in Columbus, Ohio to the William and Virginia Parks Banks. Thomas, known to many as "Tommy" "TG" or "Banks," was educated in the Columbus City School System. He graduated from North High School. "TG" briefly served in the United States Army and attended The Ohio State University.

“TG,” served as a Franklin County Sheriff. He was president and chief executive officer of IAP Design-Build, LLC and IAP Government Service Group, Inc. As a member of Trinity Baptist Church he served as the leader of the Security Ministry.

Banks and his late wife Vanessa, are the parents of Thomas Vincent Banks.

Left to cherish Thomas’ memory is son, Thomas Vincent Banks; siblings, Carolyn (Melvin) Slaughter, Wynona Banks and Cynthia Price; uncle, Joel (Sylvia) Banks; godson Bryan Thompson; nieces, nephews, cousins, the Alexander Family, close friends, Trinity Baptist Church, fellow law enforcement officers and the staff of IAP Design-Build, LLC and IAP Government Service Group, Inc.
