Thomas Curtis Kimbro

Thomas Curtis Kimbro, age 76, went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, August 28, 2012 at his Columbus residence. A longtime member of St. Paul A.M.E. Church and a City of Columbus retiree. Preceded in death by parents Irene and Curtis Kimbro, and sisters, Geraldine (Henry) Jackson, Eileen Kinzer, and Margaret (Thomas) Broady. Those who remain to cherish memories of Thomas include his loving wife Carolyn J. Kimbro; sons Thomas and Calvin Kimbro; daughters Cassandra and Carolyn E. Kimbro; grandchildren, Anthony, Tocarra, Barbra Jean, and Tyron Kimbro, and Ebony Wilder; sisters, Iris Kimbro, Joan (Pisan) Moore, Andrea Panhame, Annette Flood, Brenda (Robert) Sowell, and Martha Holt; a host of great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. We pray that our beloved Thomas is now resting in peace. Homegoing Service 12 noon, Wednesday, September 5, 2012 at Mt. Vernon Ave. A.M.E. Church, 1127 Mt. Vernon Ave., where the family will receive friends from 11 a.m. until the start of service. Rev. Dr. William S. Wheatley, officiating. Interment Green Lawn Cemetery.
