Tisha Mareena Rippey was born on October 20, 1973 in Columbus, OH. She departed from this life on Friday, June 5, 2020. Tisha graduated from St. Francis DeSales High School in 1991. Tisha then attended Ohio Dominican College and Franklin University, where she received her Associates Degree in Accounting, with a minor in Business Management. Tisha worked at JP Morgan Chase for over 18 years, where she held various positions, including Financial Advisor. Tisha was a Christian and very kind to everyone. She loved to play bingo, travel, cook, and collect purses. Tisha was very supportive and showed up to all of her relatives and friends events with her captivating smile. Tisha is preceded in death by her great-grandparents, Charles and Oretha Grear; grandparents, William and Armetta "Me Ma" Smith; uncles, William "Rip", John, and Wilbur Junior; and beloved son, Nico Cortez. Those left to cherish her memories, are her mother, Deborah; father, Joe; sons, Markel and Kelvon; children's father, Kelly; step-daughters, Tasjhara, Lauren, and Kelli; grandchildren, Nazir, Nyzon, Nyzario and Ny'Asia; sisters, Nathania and Jacoba; brothers, Jason, Trent, Brent, and William; uncles, Bryan (Rochelle), Ryan (Eva), Wilbur Jack (Lisa); aunt, Carolyn; other relatives, Ron (Lisa) and Kat (Nate); and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, loved ones, and friends.

Beginning at 1:00 pm, doors will open for a walk-through viewing with staggered admission of up to 10 people at a time. For the mutual wellness and respect of those present, all visitors are asked to wear an appropriate face covering, apply an alcohol-based hand sanitizer spray upon entry, and maintain proper distancing according to current public health guidelines. We encourage you to utilize Tisha's memorial celebration wall to view her video tribute, send flowers and post an expression of sympathy and support for the family. A receptacle will also be available for on-site collection of sympathy cards and condolence letters.
