Tom Porter, Jr., age 67, went home to be with the Lord on August 4, 2021 after a brief and courageous battle with cancer. He was born in Columbus, Ohio on October 11, 1953, to the late Tom Sr. and Henrietta Patrick Porter. He was preceded in death by his parents, son Tommy Porter, daughter Tondalaya Pooh Davis, sister Henrietta Porter and brother Melvin Porter. He is survived by his children Brian Lockett, DaNiya Davis, Levander Davis, Justina Courlas and Kristina Richcreek; his siblings Hattie Porter, Delores (John) Porter-Patton, Barbara (Clarence) Holloway and Sheldon Porter; sister-in-law Diane Porter; former spouse Rhoda Porter; 7 grandchildren, Sha’Tawn Jordan, Donald Riley III, Don'Jae Riley, Rayonna Davis, Levander Davis Jr., De'Ondre Davis, Nadia Murray and a host of great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, family and friends. Tom, affectionately known as Junior, was a professional chef for many years, he loved to work on cars and took care of landscaping for neighbors and relatives. He will be most remembered for his laid-back demeanor, being an excellent pool player and an avid card player. He loved to dress nice with his hard bottom shoes and fedora hats, do karaoke, dance, and have a good time with family and friends.
