Tom Sims

October 31, 1918 — July 30, 2024

Tom Sims, beloved husband, father, and grandfather, passed away on Tuesday, July 30th, 2024 in Cincinnati, Ohio at the age of 105. He was born on Thursday, October 31st, 1918 in Pittsview, Alabama.

Tom served in the Army and was a proud veteran. He is survived by his children, Thomas Sims, Jr. and Marie Allison, as well as his grandchildren, great-grandchildren and a host of family and friends.

Funeral services will be held at Diehl-Whittaker Funeral Service in Columbus, Ohio on Friday, August 16th, 2024. Visitation will take place from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm, with the funeral service following from 12:00 pm to 1:00 pm. Interment will be at Franklin Hills Memory Gardens in Canal Winchester, Ohio at 1:00 pm.

Tom's kindness, humor, and love will be deeply missed by all who knew him. May he rest in peace.
