Tracy Lavern Warfield was born in Columbus, Ohio on Sunday, January 17, 1965. She was the daughter of Artis and Lorene McBride. Tracy was a former student of Columbus City Schools where she ran track and was a member of the Safety Patrol. Tracy was a proud graduate of Marion Franklin, Class of 1981. She furthered her education at Columbus State Community College, formerly known as Columbus Technical Institute (CTI). Tracy was employed with Specialized Bicycles Components. This very loving, family oriented, strong women enjoyed family gatherings and was always there to celebrate life milestones of her children and grandchildren. She adored her grandchildren. Tracy was the life of the party and loved to dance. She also was an avid Buckeye fan. In the community, she was ‘Mom’ to everybody. She gave from her heart and if you were in need, Tracy Warfield was there. Our beloved Tracy L. Warfield entered eternal rest on Saturday, January 23, 2021. She was 56 years of age. She was predeceased by her mother, Lorene McBride; daughter, Traciana Johnson; aunts, Betty Hardison and Laura M. McBride; niece, Trannetta Brown; and godson, Randy Olverson. Loving memories are cherished by her husband of ten years, Ralph Arnold Warfield; daughters, Artesha McBride, Myesha McBride, Jatana McBride, Burgundy Jenkins, and Keista Wellington; sons, William Johnson and Rafael Warfield; grandchildren, Erykah, Brandon, Pryce, Rodney, Rodneysha, Charles, Jermaine, Sincere, Sanchez, Ja’Meel, Simere, IsaBella, and Isereal; father, Artis McBride; brothers, Terry (Michelle) McBride and Seth Allen McBride; sisters, Margaret McBride, Artenya McBride, Brittany McBride, and Marilynn ‘Kandi’ Harmon; godchildren, Tameeka, Ricky, Tiffany, and Ryan Olverson; a host of other family members and many friends.

Beginning at 1:00pm, doors will open for a walk-through viewing. For the mutual wellness and respect of those present, all visitors are asked to wear an appropriate face covering, apply an alcohol-based hand sanitizer spray upon entry, and maintain proper distancing according to current public health guidelines. We encourage you to utilize Tracy's memorial celebration wall to view her video tribute, send flowers and post an expression of sympathy and support for the family. A receptacle will also be available for on-site collection of sympathy cards and condolence letters.
