Veetta Shipp

VeEtta "Petie Shipp" was born to the late Arthur and Maridean Shipp on February 28, 1952, in Cleveland, Ohio. VeEtta earned her wings and transitioned to her heavenly home on July 18, 2020. VeEtta earned her high school diploma from Maple Heights High School in Maple Hts. Ohio. After graduating from high school VeEtta enrolled at Ohio State University, where she earned her master’s degree. VeEtta leaves to cherish her memory a daughter, Tyette Shipp of Columbus Ohio; a son, Aaron Shipp of Columbus Ohio; sisters, Janine Quinichett (Henry) of Seattle, Washington, Aziza Badiane-Djimera of Cleveland, Ohio and Ardean Green (Caster) of Madison, Alabama; brother, Michael Shipp (Alversa) of Birmingham, AL; one granddaughter, Mirage Shipp; two grandsons, Louis Williams and Rahshaun Goines; three great-granddaughters, Mariyah, Malani, and Marli of Columbus, Oh; and a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins.
