Vernon Curry

Vernon Curry, age 61, was born December 2, 1954 in Greensboro, Alabama. He passed away Wednesday, December 16, 2015. Vernon retired from the Board of Elections after 20 years of dedicated service. He also worked for Conrail for 10 years. He proudly served in the United States Navy from 1973-1979. Vernon was preceded in death by father, Walter Curry; and mother, Cassie Jewett; sister, Elizabeth Curry; and nephew, Jason Curry. He leaves to cherish his memory son, Viershaun Curry; daughter, Luiceiunna Dodson; granddaughter, Lei-Lani Curry; sisters, Ruth Motley, Gloria Curry and Barbara Jewett all of Columbus, Ohio; sisters, Gladys Curry, Geneva Jewett, and Sabrina Jewett all of Huntington, West Virginia; only brother, Bobby (Regina) Jewett of Maryland; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and extended family.
