Viola (Snyder) Morris

Viola Morris, age 74, passed Sunday, May 29, 2011 at OSU East. She loved spending much time in the ministry talking to others about her God, Jehovah. One of her favorite sayings was, If Jehovah say so. Viola also loved to dance, play cards, and enjoyed jokes. She is preceded in death by her parents Jesse Snyder and Josephine Jones, husband George Morris, daughter Betty Brown, and granddaughter Corrine Brown. Viola is survived by her daughter Patricia Davis; sister Ida (Willie) Curenton; four granddaughters, seventeen great grandchildren, four great-great grandchildren, and a host of other relatives and friends. Viola is loved and will be deeply missed by all who knew her. Funeral Service 10 a.m., Thursday, June 9, 2011 in the chapel of DIEHL-WHITTAKER FUNERAL SERVICE, 720 E. Long Street, where the family will receive friends from 9 a.m. until the start of service.
