Virginia Evelyn 'Jenny' Woolwine

Virginia Evelyn Woolwine Jenny, 70, of Columbus, Ohio, passed Monday, May 19, 2014. She was born September 4, 1943 to Thaddeus and Geneva Woolwine in Johnson City, Tennessee. She was a graduate from New York State University in 1970. She relocated to Columbus Ohio and until she retired, she spent many years in the field of Fair Housing for Housing Opportunity Center and Accounting for Dayspring Christian Center. In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by sister, Joy Atwater; brothers, Thaddeus Woolwine Jr, and Eugene Woolwine; niece Jennifer Traci Atwater; three great nephews, Brandon, Sergio, Joseph, and one great niece, Jazzmene. She is survived by her beloved brother, Prince A.Woolwine (Sandra Woolwine) from Garland Texas; nephew, Jordan Atwater from Gahanna Ohio who she helped raise and lovingly devoted her life to until her death. She is also survived by her devoted and dearest friend, Diane Ellis. Our beloved Jenny resides in those she touched. Her dynamic presence will be greatly missed but forever felt and known as she graciously impacted so many lives. Her smile will be always in the hearts of many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends which include her family pet dog Tazz’.
