Virginia Mamie 'Ruth' (Nickson) Kuthrell

Virginia Mamie Kuthrell, affectionately known as “Ruth”, was born January 14, 1922 in Roanoke, Virginia. She was a disciple of Mt. Olivet Baptist Church, where she was actively involved until she was overtaken by dementia. She retired as a private duty nurse. Virginia was a classy lady that loved the Lord and her family. Always encouraging others to be and do their best, she shared her wisdom and strength in such a witty fashion that will never be forgotten. On January 15, 2015, Virginia went home to be with the Lord. She was preceded in death by her husband, William C. Kuthrell, and sons, William L. and Robert E. Kuthrell. Those left to mourn her memory include her daughter, Bonita (Maurice); grandchildren, Robert Jr., Camille, and Kayla; daughters-in-law, Sharon and Carol; longtime friend, Jackie Stewart; and a host of other family and friends.
