Virginia Marie Davis

Virginia M. Davis, departed this life on April 16, 2020. She was born on August 28, 1934 in Marion, North Carolina to Robert and Mary Sue Logan. After the death of her parents, she was raised by her aunt, Henrietta Watson. Virginia graduated from Allen High School and from Shaw University with a bachelor's degree. Virginia met the perfect man, William E. Davis, and they were married on July 14, 1955. They were married for 56 years. She traveled with her husband and relocated to Columbus, Ohio. Virginia worked as a supervisor for Xerox and then field publication. She was a devoted worshipper and member of New Journey Christian Ministry. Virginia enjoyed traveling, golfing and bowling. She also had a passion for reading and was a member of the Young at Heart book club. Virginia is preceded in death by parents and siblings, Lawrence Logan, Issac Logan, Robert Logan, Lola Hoosier, and Jewel Logan. Virginia leaves to cherish her memory, son, Albert (Nicole) Davis of Columbus, daughter, Brenda (Rodney) Hudson of Columbus; grandchildren, Quintin, Tiffany, Brandon, Daja, Brittany and Rickay of Columbus; great grandchildren, Torihan, Serenity, Khyndre, Joe Siah and Noah; a host of nieces; nephews and special niece, Rose Anderson
