Virginia White

VIRGINIA WHITE was born in Columbus, Ohio, on Saturday, June 24, 1939. She was the daughter of Richard and Ruby Waddell. Virginia received her formal education from Columbus City Schools and was a proud graduate of South High School. She was a retired secretary from E.E. Ward Moving and Storage Company. “Ginny,” as she was affectionately called, enjoyed drawing and entertaining family and friends in her home.

Blessed with eighty-four years of life, our beloved Virginia White entered eternal rest on Saturday, July 15, 2023. She was predeceased by her husband, Legrand White; sons, Keith White and Kevin White; granddaughter, Talia West; parents, Richard and Ruby Waddell; sisters, Shirley Thomas, Rosemary Rutledge, and Carol Fields.

Loving memories are cherished by her son, Michael White; grandsons, Maurice White and Lamont Lipsey; granddaughter, Courtney White; sister, Jacqueline Marshall; cousin, Rosemary Scott; caregivers and nieces, Raven Parrott, Rajanique King, and Jodie Thomas; nephews, Raquan King and Ennis Thomas; and a host of other family members and dear friends.
