Vivian May Rivers

Vivian M. Rivers was born April 19, 1935, to her parents Frankie and William Rivers Sr. and stepmother Ersell Rivers who preceded him in death. Siblings, William Rivers Jr. (deceased) Joyce, Robert Louis Rivers (deceased), Arthur Lee Rivers (deceased) Jodi, Joseph (JC) Rivers (Cecilia). Vivian attended Columbus Public Schools; she then went on to work for Harts Big Bear Warehouse for 20 years. After retirement she continued her passion of caring for people by working as a home-health aide for Isabelle Ridge Way Nursing Center. Vivian leaves to cherish her memory children Dreama Davis, Diana Rivers, and son-in-law Matthew Davis. Grandchildren Ashley Tyler, Robert Tyler, Destiny Davis, Matthew Davis Jr. Great-Grandchildren Alaysia Tyler, Amyra Tyler, KaLove Henderson Jr, KaLiyah Henderson and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and other close relatives and friends. To know Vivian, was to love Vivian! She had a very caring and loving soul. Those who knew her, loved her. She was funny, courageous, intelligent, truly one of a kind. She loved her family and friends dearly. We honor and celebrate Vivian’s life today, and we are thankful for her presence in all our lives. She was an amazing daughter, sister, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, aunt, cousin and friend. We love you Mommy.
