William "Bill" Patrick Breslin, of Columbus, Ohio passed away on Monday, August 12, 2024 surrounded by family.
He was born in Ft. Hood, Texas on September 9, 1959 to the late John and Ruth Breslin.
Bill is preceded in death by his brother John Breslin, Jr. in addition to his parents.
Surviving family includes his loving wife of 33 years, Delilah; children, Ramsey and Brian; siblings, Bonnie Breslin, Michelle Carroll, Robert Breslin, and Betty Gore; as well as other loving extended family and friends.
Bill lived a very full and vibrant life. He was highlighted in the Columbus Dispatch for constructing the Resurrection Gates at Union Cemetery. For over 22 years he worked diligently for Fortin Ironworks, and designed ironworks for Bravo, Brio restaurants nationwide. His mark will be forever engraved around Columbus, Ohio and Nationwide reflected in the iron sculptures and fences he designed.
He was a devoted member of St. Phillip the Apostle, also building and installing their altar cross.
Bill enjoyed fishing and camping with family and friends.
He was a wonderful husband, father and grandfather and will be missed by all.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, August 20, 2024 from 5:00 pm to 6:00 pm with a Memorial Prayer Service immediately following at Diehl-Whittaker Funeral Service, 1370 East Main Street Columbus, Ohio 43205.
