WILLIAM EDWARD HARMON was born Friday, June 4, 1943, in Columbus, Ohio. He was the son of Ada and Josephus Harmon. He was affectionately called “Bill” by family and friends. William received his formal education from Columbus City School. He was a graduate of Central High School. In his youth, he ran track and was known as “Tail Wind Harmon.” William was a United States Army Veteran. His employment journey includes working at Pepsi, Grant Hospital, Rockwell International, Heritage House, and retiring from Riverside Hospital. William was an around family man, loving his wife, children, and grandchildren. Our beloved William E. Harmon departed this life on Wednesday, November 4, 2020. He was 77 years of age. He was predeceased by his parents, Ada and Josephus Harmon; beloved wife, Ruth Harmon; and sister, Sharon Harmon. Loving memories are cherished by his son, Bryan (Antoinette Dotson) Harmon; daughters, Roslyn (Christopher) Santiago, Rhonda Jordan, Rhoda Blakey, and Mechelle Harmon; brother, Joe (Mary) Harmon; a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other family members, and many friends.

Beginning at 9am, doors will open for a walk-through viewing. For the mutual wellness and respect of those present, all visitors are asked to wear an appropriate face covering, apply an alcohol-based hand sanitizer spray upon entry, and maintain proper distancing according to current public health guidelines. We encourage you to utilize William's memorial celebration wall to view his video tribute, send flowers and post an expression of sympathy and support for the family. A receptacle will also be available for on-site collection of sympathy cards and condolence letters.
