William Washington Green III was born Sept. 18, 1944 in Tuskegee, Alabama, the son of U.S.A.F. Captain William W. Green, Jr. (deceased) and Alethia Holiday Green, of Columbus Ohio. He leaves to cherish his life, his beloved mother, a brother, Reginald (wife Kathleen) Green of Cedar Falls, Iowa, three Aunts, many cousins, friends Richard and Mary J. Crain, Dr. Freddie Jordan, Miguel and Edna Garcia, best friend Dwight Allen. Bill was a baptized and confirmed member of St. Philip’s Evangelical Lutheran Church in Columbus Ohio. He began his early childhood education in Tokyo, Japan, was a product of the Columbus Public Schools, a graduate of South High School and attended The Ohio State University. He was a Veteran of the United States Air Force, serving during the Vietnam era. He was a 12 year employee of Ohio Bell Telephone Company and retired from the Ohio Bureau of Motor Vehicles. Bill held membership in Ham Radio club, loved working with technical gadgets, singing and performing music. He was a member of the Central Ohio Chapter of Tuskegee Airmen, Inc.
