William Hall Ii

William H. Hall, II was born June 8, 1961 to Alberta Williams Hall and William H. Hall in Columbus, Ohio. He departed this earthly life on Friday, August 19, 2011 at Mt. Carmel East Hospital. During his school years, Bill attended Beery Junior High and graduated from Marion-Franklin High School, where he was a varsity basketball player. He went on to enlist in the military, serving in the United States Army from 1979 to 1982. Prior to his honorable discharge from active duty, Bill received the Army Service Ribbon, the Humanitarian Service Medal, and the designation of Marksman. At the time of his passing, Bill was a member of New Birth Christian Ministries and a dedicated truck driver with Federal Express, where he was employed for the past ten years. He is preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Alberta and Alfred Williams, and his paternal grandparents, Margie Blackwell and George Hall. Bill leaves to celebrate his memory, his wife of 20 years, Darlene A. Hall; children William H. Trey Hall, III and Whitney Hall; mother Alberta Hall; father William H. Hall; sisters, Marsha Hall, Mary (John) Shumate of Phoenix, AZ, Sandy (Calvin) Crawford of Los Angeles, CA, Sandra (Kenneth) Parker, Lillian Baxter, and Dorothy Hall, all of Indianapolis, IN; very dear nephews, Allan Hall and Maurice Payne; mother and father-in-law, Yvonne and Earl Caliver; sisters-in-law Toya (Damon) Wright and Dawn Allen; and a host of other loving relatives and friends. Homegoing Celebration 10 a.m., Saturday, August 27, 2011 at New Birth Christian Ministries, 3475 Refugee Road, with family receiving friends from 9 a.m. until the start of service.
