William (Bill) Levite Harrell, age 81 of Columbus, Ohio passed away peacefully at the Wexner Heritage Village, Zusman Hospice facility on Tuesday, April 29, 2014. He was born May 26, 1932, in Freeman, West Virginia. He was a Korean War veteran. William was a former employee of Anderson Concrete Company in Columbus, Ohio where he worked for many years as a truck driver. An honest and hardworking man his entire life, he loved to travel, being around family and friends, but most of all he loved to “talk” about his life’s experiences. He is preceded in death by his wife (Elizabeth), son (Barris), brothers: Joseph and Robert, sisters: Mary Harris, Dorothy Character, and Nina Harrell. He is survived by sisters: Frances Brown, Louise (Al) Battle, Columbus, Ohio; and Gloria (Marcellus) Lloyd, Philadelphia, PA., brother Elbert Dan Harrell, Columbus, Ohio, sister-in-laws, Lillian Harrell and Freida Matthews; special cousins, Dreama Saunders and Lindsey Williams Jr., and a host of nieces, nephews in Ohio,West Virginia, Philadelphia, Maryland, Connecticut, Georgia, and Michigan; and other family and friends.
