William Van Cleaf Iii

William L. Van Cleaf, age 79, born in Columbus, Ohio on May 5, 1932, passed away May 11, 2011. He served proudly in the U.S. Army in the Korean War Conflict. Preceded in death by parents, William L. Van Cleaf and Elizabeth M. Van Cleaf. Survived by his first wife, Elizabeth Van Cleaf; children, Valerie Smith, Rodney (Angela) Van Cleaf, Vanessa (Pastor Bill) Young, Vesta Van Cleaf, and William Butch (Laura) Van Cleaf; second wife Claudia; 16 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren, and a host of other relatives and friends. Funeral Service 3 p.m., Wednesday, May 18, 2011 in the chapel of DIEHL-WHITTAKER FUNERAL SERVICE, 720 E. Long Street, where family will receive friends from 2 p.m. until the start of service.
