Willie (Buddy-Fox) Autrey was born on March 24 1943 in Monroeville, Alabama to the late Minnie Nord and Willie Autrey/ adopted by grandparents Beck and Channie Bell Nord. He was 1of 10 children 5 of which proceded him in death, Mary Louise Autrey, Anne Lousie Nettles, Gene Autrey, Tony Autrey and Colin Autrey All from Alabama. He was also proceeded in death by two daughters Sharon Bell Cincinnati, Ohio and Cheryl Boykin Mize, Mississippi On March 18, 2017 Willie heard-the voice of the angels singing in the heavenly choir and asked the angels Is there a place for me ? and the angels responded, Come on up a little higher and so he did, singing while on his way. I sing because I am happy.....I sing because I am free! Willie was educated in Monroeville (Hybart) Alabama. He moved to Columbus, Ohio where he worked through the ranks to become a Lieutenant for Dennis Canine Security, strengthening his love for dogs. He also became a foreman for the Big Drum Corporation. He was well known for his, extraordinary mechanical ability of servicing cars. He love to spend time with his family. Willie leaves to cherish his memories (two wonderful sister) Florence Packer of Ohio, Ellen ( John) Nettles of Beatrice Alabama, two brothers Charles Edward ( Kitty) Autrey and Clarence (Quanita) Autrey, a beloved step mother Ellawee Autrey and a Loving Ex-Wife Renee Autrey. He leaves to continue his legacy 4 Sons Willie(BettyJean)Autry, Michael (Necole) Autry, Andrew(Tina) Autry all of Mississippi, and ReShawn Autrey of Columbus, Ohio; 3 Beautiful Daughters Bernita Bell of Cincinnati, Ohio, Marie Autry of Mize, Mississippi and Shayla Autrey of Columbus, Ohio.....29 grandchildren,32 great grand children,1 great great grand child and a host of nieces and nephews.
