Willie Holland Sr

On Wednesday, January 17, 2024, Willie made his transition from earth to Heaven.

He graduated from Mohawk High School in Columbus, Ohio and later retired after 30 years of dedicated service from Nationwide Insurance Company. Post his employment with Nationwide he continued his retirement trucking around the country under the supervision of a multitude of companies.

Willie was not a big sports fan, but he loved fishing and spending time with his family & friends and making jokes. He was a straight shooter and said what was on his mind at all times.

Willie was a good man, a loving father, grandfather and brother.

He was preceded in death by his parents William J. Holland and Mandy L. Holland. His brother James Edward Holland. His special friend Sandra L. Brady and youngest son Michael A. Holland.

Willie leaves to cherish his memory two children: Willie Jr (Mann), Tamika (Quan); sister: Mandy (James); aunt: Lucy; sister-in-law: Sandi; 11 grandchildren and a host of relatives and friends.

Visitation will be held on January 29, 2024 from 12:00 pm to 1:00 pm with a Funeral Service immediately following at Trinity Baptist Church, 461 St. Clair Ave, Columbus - OH. Burial procession to Greenlawn Cemetery - Columbus, Ohio.
