Willie John Crockett

Willie John Crockett, age 86, was called Home by our Lord unexpectedly on Friday, February 18, 2011. He was born October 20, 1924, a son of the late Willie and Berthena Crockett. He was preceded in death by his parents; 11 brothers and sisters and his loving wife of 37 years, Frances. He faithfully attended Christian Assembly where he served our Lord as an usher and he served his country in the United States Air Force in World War II. He is survived by his sons, Willie Bryan (Annette) Richard; daughter, Maria; grandchildren, Jennifer (Paul) Smith, Willie Bryan II and Blake Anthony; great grandchildren, Jocelynn and Alexandra Smith and Tristan Crockett; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. His kindness was beyond measure and he brought much joy and love to the hearts of those who crossed his path. He will be greatly missed until we meet again.
