Mother Willie Mae Pass was born Wednesday, January, 21, 1931, in Greensboro, North Carolina. She was the daughter of Lillian Glenn Turner and John Turner. She graduated from Central High School in Columbus, Ohio. As a young lady, Willie Mae was united in holy matrimony to Mr. Moses Pass Jr. The couple was blessed with seven children: Linda, Steve, Rose Marie, Alvin, Debra, Warren, and Glynis. Willie Mae worked hard to provide for her family. In 1995, she retired from the Bureau of Worker’s Compensation. Willie Mae dedicated the remainder of her lifetime traveling with family, friends, and her church family. Mother Pass loved the Lord. She joined The Original Glorious Church, 2030 Joyce Avenue, and was baptized in the year 2010. Blessed with ninety-one years of life, our beloved Mother Willie Mae Pass entered eternal rest on Wednesday, June 8, 2022. She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Lillian Turner; husband of twenty-five years, Moses Pass; sisters, Elizabeth Stokes and Dorothy Sloan; brothers, Charles, John, and Calvin Turner; and daughter, Evangelist Linda Johnson Pass. Loving memories are cherished by her children, Steve, Rose Marie, Alvin, Debra, Warren, and Glynnis Pass, all of Columbus, Ohio; nieces, Gwen Harris, Frances (William) Peoples, and Bettie (Larry) Garner of Liberty, North Carolina; eight grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; a host of great nieces, great nephews, cousins, other family members, and dear friends; including special friends, Charlene and Andy.
