Willie Pannell Sr

Willie “Bill” Pannell, Sr., age 83, was born December 28, 1933 in Powhatan, West Virginia to the late Horace Pannell, Sr. and the late Lucy Hairston Pannell. Willie served in the U.S. Army. After many dedicated years of service, he retired from Ross Laboratories. On Sunday, June 18, 2017, Willie departed this life. He was preceded in death by his parents, son Willie Pannell, Jr., grandson Willie Pannell, III, sister Mary L. Dixon, and brothers Horace Pannell, Jr. and Hayes Pannell. Willie leaves to continue his legacy and cherish his memories his children, Robert (Mark Hunt) Benson Pannell of Columbus, Ohio, Larry Pannell of Detroit, Michigan, David Pannell of Michigan City, Indiana, Sheila Pannell and Shirley Pannell both of Detroit, Michigan, Carolyn Powell of Charlotte, North Carolina, Curtis (Precious) Pannell of St. Petersburg, Florida; sister, Fannie Shufford Law of Cascade, Virginia; brother, Bishop Joseph (Naomi) Pannell of Columbus, Ohio; 27 grandchildren; 60 great grandchildren; 16 great great grandchildren; a very special friend, Charlene Whaley and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends.
