Yolanda Bonita Hobbs, age 48, transitioned Friday, September 30, 2016 in Columbus, OH. Born and raised in Cleveland, OH, she later moved to Columbus, where she graduated from Bishop Hartley High School. She was employed with Central Ohio Area Agency on Aging for 23 years, with the final position as Office Manager. She took pride in being a social advocate for the aging, streamlining processes for their benefits. She received her Graphics Art credentials early in life and had a passion for Reggae music promotions and media. She volunteered teaching computer classes at Friendship Missionary Baptist Church. Yolanda was very organized and a collector of fine items. She enjoyed reading, decorating, music, dancing, good food, and family time. She had an amazing smile that would radiate the room. She leaves to cherish her memory her only son, Lawrence L. Hobbs, and his wife; 5 siblings; and a host of nieces and nephews.
