Yvette (Hairston) Ward

Yvette Denise Ward (Hairston) age 45, departed this life November 9, 2010. A former debutant of the Starlite Cotillion and graduate of Whetstone H.S., where she was a member of the cheerleading squad and many other activities. Yvette attended Columbus State Community College and Kaplan University. Baptized at an early age at Shiloh Baptist Church. She was a current member of New Birth Christian Ministries. She loved spending time with family and friends. Predeceased in death by mother Jimmie Sue Hairston (Ragland), sister Sherretta D. York (Hairston), grandparents Thomas and Thelma Hairston and James and Catherine Ragland, aunts Betty Ragland and Queen Sullivan. Survived by son Tejuan (Crystal) Files, grandchildren Christion and Peyton Files, loving parents Russell and Macie Hairston, brother Russell (Mary) Hairston, sisters Teresa Seals, Wanda Lawrence, Patricia Smoot, Tamera (Levon) Thomas, Claudine (Bayne) O'Grady, Karla (Robert) Porter, former husband and special friend Kenneth Ward, special friends Lanita and Jennifer and a host of other relatives and friends.
