Yvonne Clara Turpin

Yvonne Clara Turpin, affectionately known as Bunny, was born July 1, 1945 in Columbus, Ohio. She graduated from Columbus Public Schools. She retired from Maryhaven after many years of service. After battling with cancer more than 13 years, on January 9, 2021, Yvonne transitioned to Heaven. She is preceded in death by her mother Clara Dixon, father Gilbert Richardson, and daughter Kimm Simmons Turner. Bunny leaves to cherish her memory her son, Kevin Simmons; daughter, Karla Simmons; sister, Hazel Dixon; brothers, Ronald Tillman, Domingua LaGree, D’Vaughn LaGree, Hiram LaGree, Hyman Dixon; nine grandchildren, twenty-three great grandchildren, and a host of cousins, nieces, nephews, and other family and friends.
